Day 40: Dreamsicle Skies

Standard

I’m not sure how I wasn’t more hung-over than I was this day, but I woke up feeling all right. This is a small thing to be thankful for, but while driving up to Kevin’s parents for dinner, the skies opened up, and a dust storm rolled in from the west. We were far enough outside of the dust so that we could see where it started, backlit by the drifting sun. It’s such a beautiful thing, borderline spiritual, to witness a black sky, dimly lit by the creamsicle Arizona sunset that nowhere else in the world can compare.
